Multidisciplinary experience director, creative director, and motion-designer Carsten Becker has created extensively for brands like Adidas, Apple, Cirque du Soleil, Dolby, ESPN, Google, HBO, Lexus, Meta, Nike, Snap, Sony, Sprint, and Visa.
Becker started his career in freshly-reunified Berlin. Just before the turn of the millennium, he relocated to Los Angeles on a Conservatory Scholarship at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Becker had a long design studio Imaginary Forces and other notable creative agencies on a wide range of brand experiences. He was a key contributor in designing film title sequences for Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, the Mission: Impossible series, Snow White and the Huntsman and five visionary sequences of the film Across the Universe.
In 2014, he broke out on his own to design and direct commercials and animation, developing spots for Acura, Amazon, GMC, Honda, Red Bull and more.
I work with diverse creative teams including Portland, OR-based Invisible Thread, an immersive design and technology studio focused on using augmented reality and live interactive installs to advance awareness of social justice and climate issues.
